In Buenos Aires, a truck driver crashed into several parked cars and ran over a woman crossing Nazca Avenue in the Flores neighborhood. Police sources confirmed the incident occurred on Tuesday when the truck, traveling on Nazca Avenue at 800, lost control, hit four parked vehicles, and struck the woman, leaving her unconscious. Police from the 7C Neighborhood Station requested the SAME (emergency medical service), which assisted the victim and transported her to Álvarez Hospital. She was later successfully operated on for a skull trauma. A subsequent alcohol test on the 35-year-old driver was negative. The driver was arrested and remains in police custody. The damaged vehicles—a Volkswagen Gol, Nissan Versa, Renault Kangoo, and Peugeot 208—remain under police guard for inspection.
